Individual therapy is one-on-one counseling between a client and the therapist. There are multiple reasons clients seek individual therapy. Among these include mental health problems related to depression, anxiety, and PTSD, to name a few. As an illustration, the therapist assists clientele with effective coping skills to deal with, manage, or heal from trauma or burdensome circumstances that negatively impact mental and emotional well-being.
